Cancellation Policy

Stay at the Lake LLC – Guided Shore Path Hike Policy Thank you for choosing Stay at the Lake LLC for your guided Shore Path hike! Our goal is to provide a safe, enjoyable, and memorable outdoor experience while exploring the scenic beauty of the shoreline. Please review our policies below before your scheduled hike. 1. Reservation & Booking All guided hikes require advanced reservations and are subject to availability. Full payment is required at the time of booking. Participants must arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time to check in. 2. Cancellation & Refund Policy Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours of the hike are non-refundable, but rescheduling may be available based on guide availability. If weather conditions are unsafe (severe storms, lightning, or other hazardous conditions), hikes may be rescheduled or refunded at our discretion. 3. Hike Details & Safety Guidelines Difficulty Level: (Easy/Moderate/Challenging – Specify based on the actual trail) Participants must wear appropriate footwear (hiking or athletic shoes required – no sandals or flip-flops). Bring water, sunscreen, and weather-appropriate clothing. Stay with the group at all times; no participant is allowed to leave the guided tour without notifying the guide. Pets may or may not be allowed depending on the trail rules (confirm upon booking). Alcohol, smoking, or any illegal substances are strictly prohibited during the hike. 4. Liability & Assumption of Risk All participants must sign a liability waiver before beginning the hike. Hiking involves inherent risks, including uneven terrain, weather conditions, and potential wildlife encounters. By participating, guests assume full responsibility for their safety. Stay at the Lake LLC and its guides are not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or lost belongings during the hike. Participants must inform the guide of any medical conditions that may affect their ability to complete the hike. 5. Group Size & Private Hikes Group hikes may be limited to a maximum number of participants to ensure safety and quality experience. Private guided hikes are available upon request for an additional fee. 6. Late Arrivals & No-Shows Late arrivals of more than 15 minutes past the scheduled departure time may result in forfeiture of the booking without refund. No-shows will not be eligible for refunds or rescheduling.
